Bright Spots
Every city has people who keep the light on for others. Their stories rarely get told. We're telling them.
The Las Vegas you don't see
Everyone knows the lights of the Strip. Fewer people know the lights that stay on a few miles away: the dining room where no one eats alone, the volunteer who remembers your name, the people who show up for neighbors most of us walk past.
Bright Spots tells their stories. Each episode follows one real story, in the words of the people who live it. Everyone we feature is shown with dignity.
I started Bright Spots because I believe the people doing this work deserve to be seen, and so do the people they serve. When you see someone, it gets harder to look away.

Friends in the Desert
For 30 years, Friends in the Desert has served hot meals at St. Timothy's in downtown Henderson to anyone who walks through the door. Their story is our first. Coming soon.
Help tell these stories
Bright Spots is made possible by local businesses who care about their neighbors. Partners put their name on stories worth telling, and 20% of every partnership goes straight to the featured nonprofit.
